The staff within the middle childhood classes (Years 3-6) aim to create rich, supportive learning environments in which our students feel confident and inspired to achieve their personal best.
Ensuring the students continue to develop vital literacy and numeracy skills, staff also work rigorously to prepare them for ‘global citizenship’. Students learn their place in the world around them focusing on national and international knowledge, awareness and connections. The students will begin to look at the impact they can have on the wider community, especially in terms of their ecological footprint.
Working from the Western Australian curriculum, staff plan and implement learning programs that are differentiated to meet individual student needs and provide the best possible education for each child who attends our school, ensuring they develop a broad range of skills to enable them to take responsibility for their own direction and to adapt to a changing world.
