The ICT committee at Kellerberrin District High School is working towards resourcing and up skilling staff and students to become 21st century ICT literate. Over recent years we have made significant investment in time and money to ensure we are able to provide our students with access to a variety of ICT platforms. Our school prides itself on having advanced technologies available to all classes from Kindergarten to Year 10. Each class is connected to our network and has access to the Internet. Our students have access to iPads, desktop computers, laptops, scanners, digital cameras, printers, interactive whiteboards, Apple TV and a significant range of software and apps.
The recent purchase of more iPads has resulted in us operating a bank of 120 iPads from Kindergarten to Year 6. Our Middle School is a 1:1 device environment.
Our focus is on using mentoring and coaching to continue with the up skilling of staff in the implementation of ICT in the classroom and the Digital Technologies curriculum.
